Natalia, an immigrant from Uruguay, brings an extraordinary blend of leadership experience, public service, and event management expertise to the role, where she will focus on advancing the organization’s development efforts. Natalia’s journey from her early days as an Uruguayan immigrant to becoming a key player in Fitchburg’s civic leadership highlights her commitment to community-building and advocacy for inclusive spaces. Most notably, she served as Chief of Staff for former Fitchburg Mayor Stephen L. DiNatale, where she was instrumental in managing the city’s strategic initiatives, public relations, and community outreach efforts. We firmly believe that every child and teenager deserves access to transformative experiences and opportunities, irrespective of their socioeconomic background or ethnicity. Through compassionate mentorship, innovative initiatives, and an unwavering dedication to safety, Clubs throughout Massachusetts are steadfastly supporting youth on their journey towards a brighter future. As young people spend increasingly more time outside of school, access to after-school programs becomes paramount, shaping their present and future trajectories. Decades of research affirm that such programs foster learning, growth, and safety. Ensuring access to high-quality and impactful after-school activities isn't just an economic or moral imperative—it's a national necessity for Massachusetts. Whether through tutoring, technology access, college readiness initiatives, or skills development, Boys & Girls Clubs have consistently empowered young individuals to excel academically.
