The Ronald M. Ansin Junior Clubhouse at the BGCFL

Juniors at the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster have full list of STEAM programs to choose from throughout the day. Programs range from Power Hour, Coding, Math Club,  3D printing (coming soon), Beekeeping, Aquaponics, Junior Engineers, environmental science and Fine Arts.  We also provide J.U.M.P. hikes and walks, Basketball Leagues, guest instructors, Healthy Habits cooking, Wood working and much more!

Our Tech lab is a hot commodity within the Junior community.  In the lab members are able to learn the beginnings of coding through different programs like Scratch, MIT App Inventor,, and My.Futures.

Juniors compete in a 10 week basketball league, where they get to see new and old faces from in and outside our Clubhouse.

Healthy Habits

Members are introduced to healthier alternatives to their processed or sugar filled foods that they normally eat.  They learn nutrition facts to live healthier lives and how to measure out cooking materials in our cooking courses.

Our Juniors in the News!

In our FIRST Lego League Robotics program, juniors have to build and compete with autonomous robots on various stages against other teams and Clubs in the region to complete a set of challenges released at the beginning of each season.

Member of the Month

Each month, members get chosen for their achievements that they have accomplished throughout the month.  Awards go to Homework heroes, Athletes, Top member and many more!
