Juniors at the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster have full list of STEAM programs to choose from throughout the day. Programs range from Power Hour, Coding, Math Club, 3D printing (coming soon), Beekeeping, Aquaponics, Junior Engineers, environmental science and Fine Arts. We also provide J.U.M.P. hikes and walks, Basketball Leagues, guest instructors, Healthy Habits cooking, Wood working and much more!
Our Tech lab is a hot commodity within the Junior community. In the lab members are able to learn the beginnings of coding through different programs like Scratch, MIT App Inventor, Miniecraft.edu, and My.Futures.
Members are introduced to healthier alternatives to their processed or sugar filled foods that they normally eat. They learn nutrition facts to live healthier lives and how to measure out cooking materials in our cooking courses.
