Planned Giving

Our Club relies primarily on donations from community members. These donations can come in many different forms, one of which is planned giving.

Planned giving is just that – a bequest or donation planned ahead of time and which will be given to the organization at a future date. Everyone benefits – the children at the Club will have guaranteed support for years to come in their pursuit of great futures, and you as the donor can benefit by:

  • Potentially increasing your income
  • Provide a way of satisfying monetary goals, both personal and financial
  • Receive substantial tax benefits

There are several ways to make a planned gift, including (But not limited to)

  • A bequest in a will
  • Charitable gift annuities
  • Trust arrangements
  • Real estate gifts
  • Life insurance policies

For more detailed descriptions, you can visit the planned giving page at the Boys & Girls Club of America website.

If you are interested in learning more about making a planned gift to our Club or if you have already included the BGCFL in a bequest, life insurance policy, 401(k) or IRA, please contact Patty Fields at pfields@bgcfl.org or (978) 534-8358 x17.

In making a planned gift, you are invited to become a member of the Heritage Club, a national association of supportive and caring people who have left a legacy in their communities by donating to their Clubs. We are incredibly grateful for our Heritage Club members, both for their generosity and for the opportunities that their gifts provide to the youth we serve.
